6-4 Scanning
—Choose ADF or Platen.

—Choose the number of sides the copier/printer must scan.

(This option is only available if you are scanning from the document feeder.)
—Choose the size of the document the Fiery scans.
Size
(This option is only available if you are scanning from the copier glass.)
—Choose a value for the resolution. Changing the resolution also changes

the image size. The maximum resolution supported by the Fiery is displayed in the
dialog box.
(Color, Grayscale, or Black and White)—Choose the type of scan
Color Mode
you want.
8. Select the appropriate settings and click Acquire or Send.
If you click Acquire, the scan opens in Photoshop, where you can view and edit your
scanned file.
If you want to save the file to a specific destination, click Send and see the procedures
in the following section.
