LAN
Your
computer is equipped with a 100 Base-TX/IO Base-T LAN interface.
1.
Turn off the computer.
2.
Attach the provided core to one end of your LAN cable. Insert the cable into
the core and close the core until it clicks.
3.
Connect the core end of the LAN cable into the LAN jack on the rear side of
the computer.
4.
Connect the other end of the LAN cable into the network hub.
Turn on the notebook.
When Press <F2> to enter SETUP appears, press F2.

In the Advanced menu, enable LAN.

Press Esc; then Enter twice. The system restarts.
In the Network dialog box, set fields according to your network status. Refer

to your network administrator.
You cannot use the LAN unit when your notebook is in MS-DOS
l
mode.
You cannot use the LAN unit when you connect an optional external
l
battery.
If you cannot access the network,

From the Start menu, select Settings - Control Panel.

Double-click the Network icon.
3.
In the Network dialog box, select Conjiguration tab.
4.
Click Realtek RTL8139 (A) Fast Ethernet NIC; then Propertips.
5.
Click Advanced tab, and select Link Speed/Duplex Mode
enter an appropriate value in Value:.
6.
Click OK twice and restart your computer.
