Important Note: Use only Power Wheels
with Power Wheels
®
30 amp fuses installed. Use of any other
batteries or fuses will damage your vehicle. Make sure that
you charge the batteries for at least 18 hours using the
enclosed Power Wheels
®
your vehicle for the first time. Charge the batteries for at least
14 hours after each use of the vehicle. Never charge the
batteries longer than 30 hours. Failure to follow these
instructions may damage your batteries and will void your
warranty. It is easier to install the batteries before assembling
the hood to your vehicle. If you have already assembled the
hood to your vehicle, you may want to remove it to install
the batteries.

• Lift the hood to access the battery compartment.

Type H Batteries
• Place both Power Wheels
battery compartment. Make sure the battery
connectors extend toward the front of the vehicle.
• Make sure a Power Wheels
condition is installed in each of the batteries and that the
battery connectors are snapped together.

Battery Retainer

• Insert the looped end of battery retainer ( ) into the slot
in the vehicle body near the dash.
• Squeeze the battery retainer arms ( ) and fit them into
the slots in the vehicle body.

Battery Connector
• Squeeze the tabs on each side of the motor harness
connector.
• Plug the battery connector into the motor harness
connector.
Note: If the battery connector will not plug into the motor
harness connector, turn it over and try again! Do not force
the battery connector into the motor harness connector.
