Scheduling backups

You can run unattended backups at specific times or periodically. For details on
scheduling, see the online Help index: "scheduled backups".

Scheduling example

To schedule a database backup at 8:00, 13:00, and 18:00 during week days:
The number of concurrent streams is defined by Data Protector and
all available devices are used.
Sets the number of concurrent streams (devices). VDI supports up to
32 virtual devices per database.
