The purpose of the disaster recovery feature is to provide Data Protector with a basic runtime environment (disk access, file system
access, network access, tape access, Win32 API on 32-bit Windows systems), and partitioning scheme identical to the one extant
at the time when the system was backed up.
Note: Microsoft Cluster Server and Microsoft Majority Node Set Cluster can be recovered using any disaster recovery method
except for Disk Delivery.
The supported operating system "Windows Server 2003" includes support for Windows Server 2003 R2, Windows Storage
Server 2003 R2 and Windows Unified Data Storage Server where applicable.
The supported operating system "Windows Server 2008" includes support for all editions of Windows Server 2008 including
Windows Storage Server where applicable.
The supported operating system "Windows Server 2008 R2" includes support for all editions of Windows Server 2008 R2
including Windows Storage Server where applicable.
