To release the timer standby mode
Press STANDBY
again.
*Auto speed select function
If the tape does not seem long enough for a timer
recording at SP speed, select "AUTO"
in step 8 above.
The VCR begins recording at SP speed but changes tape
speed to SLP automatically
if the tape is not long enough.
Notes

• If the tape is _ot long enough for a recording even at
SLP speed, the program
cannot be recorded in its
entirety.
• The playback picture may be temporarily
distorted
wherever the recording tape speed changes.
• If you set the stop time to be earlier than the start time,
the date for the stop time advances to the following
day.
• Once timer programs
have been set, you cannot change
the settings of the W/CABLE,
CH(ANNEL)
PROGRAM,
ADD/ERASE,
or CH(ANNEL)
LOCK.
• Error messages are described on page 1-25.
