Heater Setup

A. Remove Shipping Materials
• Cut and discard the ties bundling the fi rescreen.
• Remove screws holding ember bed shipping tabs in
place.
• Remove the tabs and discard. Replace the screws.
• Remove the grate from the shipping pack (Figure 7.1) and
slide into place. See Figure 7.2
• Remove the upper louver assembly from the pack and
slide notches over screws in column. See Figure 7.3.
• Remove the lower louver assembly from the pack and
install as shown in Figure 7.4.
B. Clean Heater
The heater was cleaned at the factory but dust may have
accumulated during shipping.
• Vacuum fi rebox area and wipe acrylic panel (in back of
fi rebox) with a dry, lint-free cloth or paper towel. DO NOT
USE GLASS CLEANER! It will ruin the acrylic panel.
• Remove all fi ngerprints and smudges from the front trim
and glass doors to avoid permanently burning them into
the fi nish.
C. Accessories
Refer to the instructions included with the accessory.
