INSTALLING
BATTERIES
When it becomes necessaryto replace the batteries, usetwo
(2) high quality, siz_ AA.A, alkaline batteries. Note that bat-
teries should be replaced when the €ffective range of the
remote becomes noticeably shorter.
1.
Remove
the two (2) Phillips
head screws
from the
back of the remote
and remove
the compartment
COVer.
2.
Remove
the old batteries
and insert the new bat-
teries making sure the polarity
markings
(" +" and
"-")
on the batteries
match
those
shown
in the
compartment.
NOTES:
•
Be careful not to place heavy objects on top of the remote
control
buttons.
Prolonged
accidental
operation wi_
shorten battery life.
•
If you do not use the remote control for a month or longer,
remove the batteries. Battery leakage can cause damage
to the remote control.
•
Zenith is not responsible
for damage caused by such
battery leakage.
