Press SLEEP on the remote control
repeatedly to set the amount of time.
Each time you press SLEEP, tile t_ont panel display
changes as shown below.

The SLEEP
indicator
flashes
while you are switching
the amount
of time for the sleep timer. Once the sleep
timer is set, the SLEEP
indicator
lights up in the front
panel display,
and the display
returns
to the selected
sound field program.

To cancel
the sleep
timer,
press
SLEEP
on
the remote
control
repeatedly
until "SLEEP
OFF" appears
in the front
panel
display.

The SLEEP
indicator
turns off, and "SLEEP
OFF"
disappears
from the front panel display
alter a few
seconds.
The sleep timer setting can also be canceled by pressing
STANDBY on the mmute cuutrol (or STANDBY/ON
on the
front panel) to set this unit to the standby mode.
You can adjust the output
level of each speaker
while
listening
to a music source.
This is also possible
when
playing
sources
input at the MULTI
CH INPUT jacks.
This operation will override the level a([iustments made in
"BASIC SETUP" (see page 28) and "SPEAKER LEVEL" (see
page 80).
This uperation can also be perli_rmed using the contrul buttons on
the fruut paneh Press NEXT on the h'ont panel repeatedly tu
select the speaker channel whose output level yuu want tu adjust
aud then press LEVEL +_ on the front panel to at[just the output
level.

and then press LEVEL on the remote control

adjust.
Select "FRONT
L" to a_Unst the front left speaker

Select "CENTER"
to adjust the center speaker
output
level.

R" to adjnst the front right speaker
output
level.
Select "SUR.
R" to adjust the surround
right
speaker
output level.
Select "SUR.
B" to adjust the surround
back
speaker
output level.
Select "SUR. L" to adjust the surround
left speaker
output
level.
Select "SWFR"
to adjust the snbwoofer
output
level.
Once yuu press LEVEL un the remote control, you can also
selecl the speaker by pressing/',
/ v.
