OVEN DOOR
Do not place excessiveweighton or
standonanopenovendoor.Thiscould
causethe rangeto tip over, breakthe
door,or injure the user.
>- Donotattempttoopen or closedooror
operateovenuntil door is propertyre-
placed.
>_ Neverplacefingersbetweenhingeand
frontovenframe.Hingearmsarespring
mounted,if accidentallyhit, the hinge
wil!slam shut againstovenframe and
couldinjureyour fingers.
TO REMOVE:
1. Whencool,opentheovendoorto thebroil
stop position(openedaboutfour inches).
2. Graspdoor at each side, Do not usethe
door handteto lift door.
3. Liftup evenlyuntildoor ctearshingearms.
TO REPLACE:
1. Graspdoor at each side.
2. Alignslotsin the door withthe hingearms
on the range.
3. St!dethe door downonto the hinge arms
untilthe door is completelyseated on the
hinges. Pushdown on the top corners of
thedoorto completely seatdooron hinges.
Doorshouldnot appearcrooked.
NOTE:The oven door on a new range may
feel "spongy"whenit is closed,This is normal
and will decreasewith use.
OVEN WINDOW
(SELECT MOOELS)
To protectthe oven door window:
1. Do not use abrasive cleaning agents
suchas steelwoolscouringpadsor pow-
deredcleansersas theymay scratchthe
glass.
2. Do not hit the glass with pots, pans,
furniture,toys, or other objects.
3. Do notctosetheovendoor untiltheoven
racksare }n place.
Scratching,hitting, jarring or stressing the
glass may weaken its structure causing an
increasedrisk of breakageat a later date.
OVEN LIGHT
Disconnect power to range before
replacinglight bulb.
>- Use a dry pothotderto prevent pos-
sible harm to hands when reptacing
bulb.
> Make sure bulb is cool beforetouch-
ing bulb.
>_ Do not touch hot bulb with a damp
cloth as this may cause the bulb to
break.
TO REPLACEOVENLIGHT BULB:
1. When oven is coo!, hold bulb cover in
place, then slidewire retainer off cover.
NOTE: Butb cover wilt fall if not held in
placewhile removingwire retainer.
2, Removebutbcover and light bulb.
3. Replacewith a 40 watt appliancebulb.
4. Replacebutbcoverand securewith wire
retainer.
5. Reconnect power to the range. Reset
clock.
LEVELING LEGS
>- Be sure the anti-tip bracket secures
oneoftherearlevelinglegsto thefloor.
This bracketpreventsthe range from
accidentallytipping.
The range should be leveled
wheninstalled.Ifthe rangeis not
level, turn the plastic leveling
legs, locatedat each cor-
nerof therange,until
range is level.
STORAGE DRAWER
> Donot store plastic,paperproducts,
food or flammablematerials in this
drawer.Thedrawermay becometoo
warm for these itemswhenthe oven
is in use.
The storagedrawercanbe removedto allow
you to cleanunder the range.
TO REMOVE:
1. Emptydrawerand pull outto thefirst stop
position.
2. Lift up the front of the drawer.
3. Pull out to the secondstop position.
4. Grasp sides and lift drawerup and out.
TO REPLACE:
1. Fit the ends of the drawerglidesintothe
rails in the range.
2. Lift up the front of the drawer and gentty
pushin to the firststop position.
3. Liftdrawerupagain andpushuntildrawer
is closed.
