Using the self-timer
Usethe self-timerwhenyou want to be includedin a picture,or to ensurea steady
Shutterbutton press.Placethe cameraon a tripod or flat surface.
1 In any picture-takingmode,pressthe Info @ button to turn on the shortcuticons.
2 Press 4/_ i to highlightthe self-timer _,,,)icon. Press_/_ to choosea setting:
10 seconds--l_ ) A picture is taken after a 10-seconddelay(soyou havetime
to get into the scene).
2 seconds-- :_{) A picture istaken after a 2-seconddelay(for a steady,shutter
releaseon a tripod).
2 shot--2_{ ) Thefirst picture is taken after a 10-second delay.A secondpicture
is taken 8 secondslater.
3 Composethe scene.Press the Shutterbutton halfway, then completely down.
