Extending battery life

Dirt on the batterycontactscan affect batterylife. Wipe the contactswith a clean,
dry cloth before loadingthe batteriesin the camera.
Batteryperformanceis reducedat temperatures below41° F(5° C).Whenusing
yourcamerain cold weather,carrysparebatteriesand keepthem warm. Donot
discardcoldbatteriesthat do not work; when they returnto room temperature,
they may be usable.
Limited warranty
Kodakwarrantsits digital camerasand accessories ( excludingbatteries)to be free
from malfunctionsand defectsin both materialsand workmanshipfor the warranty
period specifiedon your KodakProductpackaging.Retainthe original dated sales
receipt.Proofof purchase date is requiredwith any requestfor warrantyrepair.
Limited warranty coverage
Warrantyserviceis only availablefrom within the countrywhere the Productswere
originallypurchased.Youmay be requiredto shipProducts,at your expense, t o the
authorizedservicefacility for the countrywherethe Productswere purchased.Kodak
will repairor replaceProductsif they fail to functionproperlyduring the warranty
period,subjectto anyconditionsand/or limitationsstated herein.Warrantyservice
will includeall labor aswell asanynecessary adjustmentsand/orreplacement p arts.If
Kodakis unableto repairor replacea Product,Kodakwill, at its option, refundthe
purchasepricepaid for the Productprovidedthe Producthasbeen returnedto Kodak
along with proof of the purchasepricepaid. Repair,replacement, o r refundof the
purchasepriceare the sole remediesunderthe warranty.If replacement p arts are
usedin making repairs,those parts may be remanufactured, o r maycontain
remanufactured materials.If it is necessary to replacethe entire Product,it may be
replacedwith a remanufactured Product.Remanufactured Products, p arts and
materialsarewarrantedfor the remainingwarrantyterm of the original Product,or 90
daysafter the date of repair or replacement, w hicheveris longer.
