Connect thecomponent, composite andS Video Monitor o utputs t o
yourVideoMonitor (IV).Switch yourIV set'sinput t o match thetype
of video used br thecurrently s elected s ource.
Step6. Plugallcomponents into ACpower outlets. Ihe outlets o n theback
of theAVR525should be usedorT/y forlow-current products, such
asCDor DVD players, andthetotal s hould notexceed 100watts.

Step8. Selecta surroundmode:Press t heSurround M odebutton on the
frontpanel t oselect D olby' ProLogic II Movie. ( '¢ou mayselect

Step9.Configure speakers:Noaction is needed ifyouhavefive"small"
satellite typespeakers a ndasubwoo% Otherwise, press theSpeaker
button andthentheSetandarrowbut'_ons toselect t hecorrect
speaker c hoices foryoursystem (seepages 21 23).
Step10. UseEzSet

to set outputlevels:Setthe Balance t o 12 o'clock,
andtheVolume to lOdB.Sitinthelistening p osition andholdthe
remote infrontof youat shoulder level, p ointing a t theAVR525.
Press theSPLbut'_on for3 seconds, andrelease it when the LED
flashes a mber. Press "5" or "T'to indicate thenumber o f speakers.
