We recommend t hatyouusehigh-quality interconnect
cables whenmaking connections t o source equipment
andrecorders t o preserve the integrily of thesignals
1 Connect t heanalog outputof a CDplayer to the
CDAudioInputs t_}
NOTE: W hen the CDplayer hasbothfixedandvari

copperwitha gauge of 14 or smaller Remember that
inspecifying c able, t he lower t he number, the thicker
the cable
Cable witha gauge of 16 maybe usedforshorlruns
of lessthanten feet,Wedo notrecommend t hatyou
usecables withanAWG equivalent of 1S or higher.

an industry convention o f usingblackterminals f or

from thisconfiguration ensureproperphase and
optimal p erformance, consult t he identification plateon
yourspeaker o r thespeaker's manual t o verifypolarity
Ifyoudo not knowthe polarity of yourspeaker, ask
yourdealer F or a dvicebefore proceeding, or consult
the speaker's manufacturer
We alsorecommend thatthe lengthof cableused
to connectspeakerpairsbe identicalForexample,
usethe samelengthpieceof cableto connectthe
front-leftandfront-rightor surroundleftandsur
