Be carefld when moving the refrigerator
away from tbe wall. All types of floor
coverings can be damaged, particularly
cushioned coverings and those with
embossed surfaces.
Pull [he refrigerator straight out and return
it to position by pushing it sn'aight in.
Moving tbe refrigerator in a side direction
may result in damage to the floor covering
or refiigeraton
Whenpushingtherefrigeratorback,makesure
youdon'traft over thepowercordor icemaker
supplyline [on somemodels).
Preparing for Vacation
For long "_acations or absences, remove
food and unplug the refrigeratol: Clean
the interior witb a baking soda solution
of one tablespoon ( 15 ml) of baking soda
to one quart (1 liter) ofwatel: Leave tbe
doors open.
Set tbe icemaker power switch to tbe 0 (Off)
position and shut off tbe water supply to
the refiigeraton
If tile temperature can drop below
freezing, have a qualified servicer drain tbe
water supply system (on some models) to
prevent serious propervy damage due to
flooding.
Remove the water filter carn'idge (if
equipped) and install a filter bypass plug
(see About the water
filtercartridge).
Preparing to Move
Secure all loose items such as grille,
shelves and drawers by taping them
securely in place to prevent damage.
Besure therefrigeratorstays in an upright
position duringmoving.
