WARNING: For your own safety, turn switch
"OFF", remove switch key and remove P_ug
from power out_et before maintaining
or _ub_'icating your band saw.
TIRES
Pitch and sawdust
that accumulates
on the tires
should be removed with a stiff brush or scraped
off
with a piece of wood. Do not use a sharp knife or any
kind of solvent,
GENERAL
Keep your Band Saw clean.
Remove sawdust from the inside frequently,
Do not allow pitch to accumulate on the table, blade
guides,
or thrust
bearings.
Clean
them
with
Craftsman Gum and Pitch Remover,
Apply a thin coat of automobile-type wax to the table
top so the wood slides easily while cutting, Also apply
wax to the inside surfaces of the trunnion.
MOTOR!ELECTRQCAL
Frequently vacuum or blow out any sawdust from the
motor.
