Charging the Battery

Plug the battery charger into a power outlet.
The charging indicator lights green and charging begins.
When charging is completed, the indicator turns off.
Charging ends after about 2 hours.

Load the battery to be

Remove the battery
from the battery
charger.
Unplug the battery
charger and remove
the battery from the
battery charger.
(_ CAUTION
• Unplug tile battery charger from tile power outlet when
it is not in use.
• The battery cannot be charged even when connecting
the camera directly to the AC power adapter.
• If the terminals of battery are solid, it may not be
possible to charge it. Clean the battery terminals and
battery charger terminals with a clean, dry cloth.
• Charging times increase at low temperatures.
• The NP-70 gradually loses its charge even when not
used. Charge a N P-70 just before taking pictures (in the
last day or two).
