Connect the keyboard cable to the PS/2 ports on the rear of the unit. Do not connect anything to
the USB ports.

Power on the HP D2D and allow it to boot up until the console screen is displayed (see example
below). Select the Network... option from the left-hand Menu.

Locate the IP address for the port(s) and make a note of it.

Use an iSCSI Initiator to enable the host to connect to devices on the HP D2D, see also
"iSCSI
Initiator" on page 49. In the web browser on the host machine, type in the IP address of
the HP D2D to connect to it.
