The Advanced Setup menu can be used for unit initialization and other useful extended functions. The Advanced Setup menu can be operated as follows.

Switch this unit to the standby mode.

Press MAIN ZONE (b while pressing and holding
STRAIGHT on the front panel.
Release STRAIGHT when "ADVANCED SETUP" is displayed
on the fiont panel display.
After a few seconds, the top menu items are displayed.
MAIN ZONE _ STRAIGHT
#_ Use PROGRAM <3 / [:> to select the item to be set
_ from the following items.
In the Advanced Setup menu, you can set the following settings.
Sets the impedance of speakers.
Changes the remote control ID of a receiver.
Resets the parental lock code tUr the SIRIUS Satellite
Radio tuner.
Specifies the TV's color encoding format.
Removes the up-scaling limitation on HDMI video
output.
Initializes various settings for this unit.
Press STRAIGHT repeatedly to select the value you
want to change.
_f_ Switch this unit to the standby mode, and then
switch it on again.
The settings become effective and the unit is powered on.
Setting the impodango of speakers
Changes the unit settings depending on the impedance of the
speakers connected. _"_
Select the impedance when 6 _Q speakers are
connected.
Select the impedance when speakers above 8 f.) are
connected.
