Regular Maintenance

Cleaning the cleaning wiper

Clean the cleaning wiper once a month, or when
blurs or lacking parts appear on printed paper
after head cleaning.
Note:
❏ Use the cleaning stick that comes with the
printer to clean the cleaning wiper.
See "Maintenance Kit" on page 53
❏ When cleaning the cleaning wiper, the print
head cap must be removed and cleaning must be
complete before the head dries. We recommend
finishing the cleaning within 15 minutes to
prevent the head from drying.
