010 - MUTE DISABLE
Enables or disables sound mute function.
If set to i, sound cannot
be muted, mute is disabted.
If set to O, sound can be muted.
011 - KEY DEFEAT(Keyboard Defeat)
If set to 1, key defeat prevents the end user from accessing the on-
screen menus with the display front panel--MENU, SELECT, and Left /
Right arrow keys and TV/AV do not function. If set to O, those keys
do function.
*Note: The menus can always be accessedby pressing MENUon the
remote.
012 - IR BANKSEN. (IR Banks Enabte)
For direct access to a particutar Channe[ Bank. When enabted,
installer can access a channel bank by inputting the IR code for the
bank.
013 - SCANMODE
Allows variation in setting the On/Off with Channel UP/DOWN.
You may opt for TVchannels only; TV channels + Off/ON; TV
channels + FM radio; TV channels + FMradio + Off/On with these set-
tings for Scan Mode:

014 - STRTCH IN SM (Start Channet in Scan Mode)
When set to 1, instatts TV On/Off event betow the start channetat TV

If set to i, the SLEEP TIMER feature may be used. If set to O, the
Steep Timer is not avaitabte.
016 - EN TIMER (Enabte On/Off Timers)
If set to 1, Timer function is avaitabte to user. Set to 0 to disabte
On/Off Timer functions. (Clock must be set in order to use Timers.)
017 - ALARM
Givesthe instatter the option of making the Atarm function avaitabte
to the end user. If set to 1, Alarm function is available to end user.
Set to 0 to disable the Alarm function.
*Note: Clock must be set before the Alarm function will work.

Sets hours from 0 to 99 for the maximum V-Chip (Parentat Contro[)
brock hours. Defautt setting
is for 12 btocking hours.

is 2 (which favors most hospitats).
With this setting

things are affected:
Channet Banks i, 2, and 3 are accessibte, white
Bank 4 is inactive.
028 - CH. OVERIDE(Channet Override)
If set to 1, the user can setect channets with either Channet
up/down or by direct keypad entry. If set to O, only those channels
that are entered for scanning can be selected.
