ESTING THE

Once your printer is set up, you should test it to make sure it works correctly. This

involves three steps:

Loading paper

Printing a status sheet

Plugging in the Printer

Follow these steps to plug in the printer:

1 Make sure the printer is turned

off. The power switch, which

is located on the left side of

the printer, should be in the

position shown:

2 Connect the power cord to the

AC inlet below the power

switch.

3 Plug the other end of the

power cord into a properly

grounded outlet. Avoid using

outlets where other appliances

are plugged in.
