When connecting a 10BASE‐TX segment to one of the fixed RJ45 ports (odd numbered 
ports 1‐15), ensure that the network meets the Ethernet network requirements of the IEEE 
802.3‐2002 standard for 10BASE‐TX. Refer to the Cabling Guide for details.
Note: The network installation must meet the requirements described in this chapter to
ensure satisfactory performance of this equipment. Failure to do so will produce poor
network performance.
