Selecting the PCM downsampling rate

To select the PCM downsampling rate:
1 Press BD to switch to Blu-ray mode.
2 Press SETUP. The Setup Menu opens.

to select 48KHz or Off.

to save your selection and return to the
previous menu level.

Note
If you set the PCM downsampling rate incorrectly,
audio output may be unpredictable.

Turning dynamic range control on or off

Dynamic range control only works when your
TV/Blu-ray combo detects a Dolby Digital signal.
To turn dynamic range control on or off:
1 Press BD to switch to Blu-ray mode.
2 Press SETUP. The Setup Menu opens.

• On—Select this option if you play movies at
low volume or if you have small speakers. Your
TV/Blu-ray combo uses compression to make
low-audio content easier to hear and prevent
high-audio content from getting too loud.
• Auto—Select this option to listen to movies at
the dynamic range they were recorded in.
• Off—Select this option if you do not want to
use the DRC feature. The DRC gain value is
ignored, and the audio program is reproduced
with full dynamic range.
