Action
Shutdown and remove the blade server from the
BladeCenter unit, wait 30 seconds; then, reinstall the
blade server in the BladeCenter unit and restart it. If
problem persists, perform the following tasks in the
order shown, restarting the blade server each time:
1. Remove the cKVM feature card (if present).
2. Update the BMC firmware.
3. (Trained service technician only) Replace the
system board assembly.
Shutdown and remove the blade server from the
BladeCenter unit, wait 30 seconds; then, reinstall the
blade server in the BladeCenter unit and restart it. If
problem persists, perform the following tasks in the
order shown, restarting the blade server each time:
1. Shutdown and remove the blade server from the
BladeCenter unit; then, remove the Blade Storage
Expansion Unit 3 from the blade server. Reinstall
the blade server in the BladeCenter and restart it.
2. Update the BMC firmware.
3. (Trained service technician only) Replace the
system board assembly.
Shutdown and remove the blade server from the
BladeCenter unit, wait 30 seconds; then, reinstall the
blade server in the BladeCenter unit and restart it. If
problem persists, perform the following tasks in the
order shown, restarting the blade server each time:
1. Remove the blade server from the BladeCenter
unit; then, remove the I/O expansion cards
installed in the Memory and I/O Expansion Blade.
Reinstall the blade server in the BladeCenter unit
and restart it.
2. Shutdown and remove the blade server from the
BladeCenter unit; then, remove the Memory and
I/O Expansion Blade from the blade server.
Reinstall the blade server in the BladeCenter and
restart it.
3. Update the BMC firmware.
4. (Trained service technician only) Replace the
system board assembly.
