Configuring the Device Functions

NOTE
For the imageRUNNER 105+ -M3, imageRUNNER 8070-M3, imageRUNNER 85+ -M3,
and imageRUNNER 9070-M3, you can enable the device functions manually, according
to your needs. To perform this operation, the corresponding function settings must be
enabled on the printer.

On the [Start] menu, point to [Settings] ➞ click [Printers].
NOTE
•
If you are using Windows XP Professional/Server 2003, on the [Start] menu, click
[Printers and Faxes].
•
If you are using Windows XP Home Edition, on the [Start] menu, click [Control
Panel] ➞ [Printers and Other Hardware] ➞ [Printers and Faxes].

In the [Printers] folder, right-click the printer icon for your
printer ➞ click [Properties].

In the printer properties dialog box, click the [Configuration]
tab (Windows 98/Me) or [Device Settings] (Windows NT 4.0/
2000/XP/Server 2003) tab.

Click [Function].
The [Device Function Setting] dialog box opens.

Select the functions you want to use.

Click [OK].
The [Device Function Setting] dialog box closes.
