7. Par S strobe adjustment for the parallel port can be set to
four additional settings in addition to the default setting.
Pull–up resistors are only enabled indicating parallel mode 1 is
not supported. (Parallel mode 2 is supported and can be turned
off or on in the configuration mode.) Adjustments may have to
be made if an unusually long parallel cable is being used.
8. Network settings for mark history, history mode, Optra Forms™
mode, and meditech mode can be set.
– A service error history report (network) can be printed.
– Dump NVRAM prints a hex dump of the NVRAM partition
and the re–init NVRAM resets the network NVRAM to the
factory defaults.
Note: When a controller card is changed in a network printer,
print the menu and network sheets. (After POR, press
Continue.) If the "Printer Type" under "Integrated
Network Option Settings" does not match the "Name"
under "Appletalk", go into the printer diagnostics mode
and reinitialize NVRAM ("Reinit NVRAM"). Verify that the
names match after reprinting the network sheet.
