Turn on the satellite receiver and select a satellite
programme other than programme number 12.
Point the handset at the front of VCR, then press
the MENU button.
Press one of the cursor buttons to select SAT
mode, and then press the ENTER button.
The satellite control set-up menu appears on the
TV screen.
Press the button.

The channel preset menu appears on the TV
screen.
If you press the PROG 8/9 button the programme
number will change.
Press and release the fast forward
button to start searching for the satellite
programme.
If the RF output channel is known from satellite
receiver, press the 0 ~ 9 buttons on the remote
control. When a "satellite" picture appears on the
TV screen, press the pause
station number.
The programme number turns black. If not, press
the pause button again.
Press the pause button to store this
programme number.
The satellite control set-up menu appears on the
TV screen.
The connection display changes from "(L2)" to
"(RF-05)".
Press the pause button to enter your satellite
receiver brand.
If this type number is incorrect for your satellite
receiver, refer to table on the next page. Enter the
code using the number buttons on the remote
control handset. After entering the numbers, the
VCR will transmit a control signal to the satellite
receiver.
