The DVD Multimedia Player

Spas equipped with a DVD player and TV monitor use the Farenheit all-in-one receiver, amplifier and CD /
DVD player (see Figure 26). The manufacturer's operating instructions are delivered with your spa. We
strongly recommend that you read these instructions prior to operating this unit.
This owner's manual describes basic functions. See the manufacturer's operating instructions for other features
and functions. These instructions are delivered with the Cal Spas™ owner's manual in a clear plastic bag.
NOTE: Although the system is encased n a plastic housing with weather seals, the system is NOT marine
grade and is NOT waterproof. You must take every precaution to keep this system dry! Water damage is
not covered by the manufacturer's warranty.
• Do not place wet CD's into this unit at any time.
• Always close the CD protection door.
Programming DVD Control with the Universal Remote Control
1. Turn on the DVD player manually.
2. On the remote control, press DVD once.
3. Press and hold SETUP until the LED blinks twice, then release SETUP.
4. Enter code #1142 for your DVD player. If you perform this procedure correctly, the LED will blink twice. If
not, repeat steps 2 through 4.
Powering up the System and Playing the Radio
1. Press the POWER button on the unit or the remote control to turn the system on. The system automatically
starts in the mode it was in when it was last shut off.
2. Press the MOD button to switch to the radio mode.
3. Press the left and right arrows located at the far right of the panel to tune the radio to a station.
Operating the TV
1. Press the MOD button on the stereo unit until AU IN appears on the front display.
2. Raise the TV as described in the next section.
3. Turn on the power to the TV by either pressing the ON button or using the remote control.
4. Use the remote control to select a channel.
