Rear
Removing the rear wheel
- Use a screwdriver as a lever between the drum
and the cover.
-Straighten the split pin and remove the cap.
-Remove the wheel acting on the central fixing
point.
WARNING
-ALWAYS USE NEW SPLIT PINS FOR REFIT-
TING.
Refitting the rear wheel
-Refit the parts in the reverse order as for removal,
lock the wheel nut to the specified torque.
WARNING
- FOLD THE EDGES OF THE SPLIT PIN AS
SHOWN IN ORDER TO AVOID BACKSLASH
BETWEEN THE CAP AND THE WHEEL AXLE.

Shock absorbers
Removal
- To replace the shock absorber remove the bat-
tery access flap to reach and remove the shock
absorber/ frame anchoring nut. Then remove the
shock absorber/engine anchorage nut.
- When refitting, tighten the shock absorber/frame
anchoring nut and the shock absorber/engine pin
to the specified torque.
