10.2.1.1 Configuration with Windows 2000

Please check if Unix Printservices already are installed (Control Panel-> Add Remove Programs -> Add
Remove Windows Components -> Other File and Print Services -> Print Services for Unix)
Add a new printer (Please be notified that there is no automatic detection available)
As a Printer Port select the LPR port
Please either enter the IP-address or the name of the terminal. The name of the printer queue easily can
be configured with THINTUNE (System -> Line Printer). However, we strongly recommend to maintain the
default settings! These are lp for the parallel port, lp_com1 for the first serial port and lp_com2 for the
second serial port.
