Downloading Images with the USB Mounter

Click [Yes] to restart the computer.
The USB Mounter will be enabled.
1. Select [Control Panels] from the Apple menu
2. Select [Camera Mode] and close the control panel.

Attach the supplied USB cable to the computer's USB port and the
camera's Digital Terminal.
The camera icon will display on the desktop.

Double-click the camera icon.

Select the folder containing the images.
The images on the memory card will display as file icons.
See Memory Card Folder Structure (p. 115) for information about memory
card folder structures and file names.

Copy images to the computer's hard disk using standard file copying
procedures.
Select images and drag and drop them onto the target folder on the
computer to download them.
Disable the USB Mounter when you need to upload images
to the camera or shoot with RemoteCapture.
[Canon USB Camera Driver].
The Canon USB Camera Driver control panel will display.
After you restart the computer, the USB Mounter will be
disabled.
Procedures for attaching the camera to the computer and
placing it in the correct mode for connecting vary between
camera models. See Information about Your Camera (p. 91)
for details.
Camera Icon
Your camera model
name will appear here.
Never turn off the power or detach the USB cable while
copying. The equipment may not operate correctly.
