Quick Installation Guide 3.1 Configuring the PC After you directly connect your PC to the Modem Router or connect your adapter to a Hub/Switch which has connected to the Modem Router, you need to configure your PC’s IP address. Follow the steps below to configure it.

Configuring the Modem Router This chapter will show each Web page's key function and the configuration way. 4.1 Login After your successful login, you will see the fifteen main menus on the left of the Web-based utility. On the right, there are the corresponding explanations and instructions.

    150Mbps Wireless AP/Client Router User Guide 4.4.1 WAN Settings Choose “Network” “WAN Settings”, and you will see the WAN Port Information Table in the screen similar to Figure 4-2, which describes the WAN port settings and the relevant manipulation to each interface. There are five different configurations for the connection types, which are Static IP, Dynamic IP, PPPoE, IPoA, and Bridge.

Please input the value provided by your ISP. VCI (1~65535): Identifies the virtual channel endpoints in an ATM network. The valid range is from 1 to 65535 (1 to 31 is reserved for well-known protocols).

Check this box then you can change the MTU size. The default MTU value is 1500 Bytes. It is not recommended that you change the default value unless required by your ISP.

These fields are case-sensitive. Authentication Method: Select the Authentication Method from the drop-down list, the default method is AUTO_AUTH, and you can leave it as a default setting. Choose the right connection type according to your needs: For PPPoE connection, you can select Connect on demand or Connect automatically or Connect manually.

Virtual LAN (VLAN) is a group of devices on one or more LANs that are configured so that they can communicate as if they were attached to the same LAN, when in fact they are located on a number of different LAN segments.

Enter the amount of time, in hours, then the user will be “leased” this dynamic IP address. After the dynamic IP address has expired, the user will be automatically assigned a new dynamic IP address.

The default setting is Automatic, which can select Shared Key or Open System authentication type automatically based on the wireless station's capability and request.

If it’s not provided, keep the default value. Password: This parameter, given by your service provider, holds the password used for authentication within VoIP SIP registrar.

Prefix number is the key to making a distinction between VoIP and PSTN call. If actual numbers dialed match prefix number defined in the dial plan, the dialed number will be routed to the specified network according to this plan.

This section introduces how to configure Speed Dial for your account. Speed Dial comes to store frequently used telephone numbers and to make your dial more convenient.
