Level-2 Menu Settings

The following groups will be found in the Level-2 menu:
PRINT MODE: Sets the printing resolution in dots per inch.
MEMORY USAGE: Sets font cache size (HP PCL 6 mode). Displays memory
area available for downloading fonts.
AUTO OPERATION: Sets the following:
Ÿ what happens when a memory overflow/print overrun situation occurs.
Ÿ how long the printer waits for additional data to be received
Ÿ amount of time printer will wait for paper to be loaded in manual feeder
before cancelling print job (PostScript mode only [14i] ).
DARKNESS CONTROL: Sets print density.
POWER SAVING: Sets time printer waits before going to standby state.
LOW TONER: Sets message displayed when toner is low.
TONER SAVING: Use to save toner when printing proofs.
CLEARABLE WARNINGS: Sets how long error messages appear on display.
ERROR REPORT: Sets whether or not an error contents report is printed.
PARALLEL I/F: Sets parameters for parallel interface:
Ÿ parallel speed
Ÿ bi-directional on or off
Ÿ I-Prime on or off
RS232C SERIAL: Sets parameters for serial interface:
Ÿ flow control
Ÿ Baud rate
Ÿ data bits (7 or 8)
Ÿ parity
Ÿ min. busy (length of busy signal)
OKI HSP: Sets parameters for OKI HSP card.
LANGUAGE: Sets display language.
