WAP3205 v2 User's Guide
DESCRIPTION
Select this option to have the WAP3205 v2 connect to the specified access point.
Enter the name of the access point to which you are connecting.
Enter the MAC address of the access point to which you are connecting.
Set the operating frequency/channel depending on your particular region.
Select a channel from the drop-down list box. The options vary depending on the
frequency band and the country you are in.
Select Static WEP if the access point to which you want to connect uses WEP data
encryption.
Enter a passphrase (up to 26 printable characters) and click Generate.
A passphrase functions like a password. In WEP security mode, it is further converted by
the WAP3205 v2 into a complicated string that is referred to as the "key". This key is
requested from all devices wishing to connect to a wireless network.
Select 64-bits or 128-bits.
This dictates the length of the security key that the network is going to use.
