2. Swing the fan assembly against the accessory board guide, and press in on
the catch to latch the fan assembly into place. (This reverses the procedure
shown in Figures 2-13 and 2-14.)
3. Connect the cable of the fan assembly to the Fan 0 connector on the system
backplane, which is shown in Figure 2-13 for the HP NetServer LH 3.
4. Insert the prongs of the other fan assembly into the Fan 1 holes in the
accessory board guide, as shown in Figure 2-19.
5. Swing the fan assembly against the accessory board guide, and press in on
the catch to latch the fan assembly into place. (This reverses the procedure
shown in Figures 2-13 and 2-14.)
6. Connect the cable of the fan assembly to the Fan 1 connector on the system
backplane, which is shown in Figure 2-13 for the HP NetServer LH 3.
Step 9: Replace Cover 1 and Front Bezel
To replace Cover 1 and the front bezel, follow the procedure for your NetServer
configuration:
HP NetServer in pedestal configuration
HP NetServer in an HP rack
HP NetServer in a Compaq rack
For a Pedestal NetServer
For an HP NetServer in pedestal configuration, do the following to replace
Cover 1 and the front bezel:
1. Insert the tabs inside the rear edge of Cover 1 into the slots at the rear of
the NetServer chassis.
2. Slide Cover 1 toward the rear of the NetServer, as shown in Figure 2-20.
