Error Messages
No dial tone detected. Try Check Fax Connection.
The combination of IP address and subnet mask is invalid.

Recovery Mode
One side will be printed. You can only use XXX size plain
paper for 2-sided print.
Can not print because memory is full.
Data error. Document was not printed.
Memory is full. Only one copy of documents was printed.

Make sure the phone cable is connected correctly and the phone
line works.

The firmware update has failed. You will need to re-attempt the
firmware update. Ready a USB cable and visit your local Epson
website for further instructions.
Press the y button to cancel printing, or press one of the x Start
buttons to print one side using the currently loaded paper.
For 2-sided printing, cancel printing, load a paper size that
supports 2-sided printing, and then reprint the data.
Not enough memory in the printer to complete the current print
job. Press one of the x Start buttons to cancel the current job.
Cannot print as there is a problem with the print data, such as the
inclusion of compressed data. Check the print data.
Not enough memory in the printer to print the documents at the
specified number of copies. The printer automatically prints only
one copy of the documents so that it can continue printing. To
print multiple copies of the documents, try simplifying the page
by reducing the number of graphics or reducing the number and
type of fonts.
Not enough memory in the printer to print the page at the
specified print quality. The printer automatically lowers the print
quality so that it can continue printing. If the quality of the printout
is not acceptable, try simplifying the page by reducing the number
of graphics or reducing the number and type of fonts.
Check the product's DNS settings from the control panel, and
check the DNS settings for the server, the computer, or the access
point. To check the settings from the control panel, select Setup >
Network Settings > General Network Setup.
Check the product's Email Server Settings from the control panel
and make sure each setting is configured correctly.

When you are using the Scan to Network Folder/FTP function,
check that the entered folder path, the user name, and the
password are correct on the computer and the product's control
panel. Press r on the Scan to Network Folder/FTP top screen, and
then select Save to.
