Add new handsets to make your telephone more versatile (page 39)
Your telephone can accommodate up to four cordless handsets. You can add new
handsets (model E598-1 or E598-2, sold separately) anytime, but each must be
registered with the telephone base before use.
The handsets provided with your E6001/E6002B are automatically registered
as handsets 1/handset 1 and handset 2 respectively. Additional handsets will
be assigned numbers in the order they are registered. You can register a maxi-
mum of 4 handsets to the telephone base.
The E6001 has one handset automatically registered as handsets 1. You can regis-
ter three additional handsets, which will then be assigned numbers 2, 3 and 4.
The E6002B has two handsets automatically registered as handsets 1 and 2.
You can register two additional handset, which will then be assigned number 3
and 4.
