Inventory tasks use the task management component of Notification Server that
provides flexibility in targeting computers and scheduling tasks. For example,
when you select computers, you can build and re-use predefined collections of
computers. When you schedule tasks, you can configure multiple schedules for
an individual task, use maintenance windows, or use shared schedules.
