One of the best things about taking pictures or designing creative compositions is that
once you get them done, you can share them with other people. With Kai's Photo Soap 2,
there are lots of new ways to share your photos and compositions.
You can:
• Print photos in dozens of different ways. Print in rows and columns, create greeting
cards, display albums full of photos, or make posters. Refer to
for more about printing your photos. Refer to
for a list of supported Kodak and avery papers.
• Send photos with your e-mail, in a handy Kai's Photo Soap 2 PhotoMailer.
• Export photos as Web pages (as HTML).
• Export desktops as Web pages (they're interactive).
• Create a Photocube, with an awesome 3-D look, then display it on the Web.
Sending Photos with E-mail
With Soap 2 PhotoMailers, it's easy to send photos and compositions over the internet.
PhotoMailers are Internet-friendly mini-programs that you attach to an e-mail message.
PhotoMailers travel over the Internet in a self-contained package. When friends,
relatives, or clients get a PhotoMailer, they just double-click the PhotoMailer attachment
and click through a cool slideshow of your most recent creations.
There are differences between a Macintosh and a PC. Because of that, you must find out
what type of computer the person who is to receive your e-mail uses. Because a
PhotoMailer is a mini-program, you can create a PhotoMailer on a PC, then send it to
another PC. You can create a PhotoMailer on a Macintosh, then send it to a Macintosh. If
you need to send photos to a computer that uses a different operating system than the one
you are using (i.e., PC > Mac or Mac > PC), do not use a PhotoMailer. Save your photos
as individual JPEG (.jpg) files (72 dpi resolution is fine) and attach them to your e-mail
message.
Compression, Resolution, and the number of photos you bundle
into a PhotoMailer all affect how big the PhotoMailer becomes. It's
a good idea to experiment with settings—create a few sample
PhotoMailers—then use the settings that create a small, yet
acceptable quality PhotoMailer.
To send photos over e-mail in a PhotoMailer:
1
(Optional) Select one or more thumbnail in the Organize area.
If no thumbnails are selected, Soap 2 creates a PhotoMailer that contains all photos
that are currently displayed.
