Use Adobe Captivate's Acrobat Connect Professional integration options
Captivate, you can select two options that help Adobe Captivate and Acrobat Connect
Professional work together smoothly. The Include Adobe Connect metadata option adds
information to the Adobe Captivate project files that makes it easier for the Adobe Captivate
project and its contents to be found during searches that users do in Acrobat Connect
Professional. You can also select Acrobat Connect Professional as your quiz reporting output
option. This option enables Acrobat Connect Professional to easily track how users work with
quizzes and interactive objects in Adobe Captivate projects. You can also put the project into a
ZIP file for easier uploading. With Acrobat Connect Professional integration, you can also
update video files easily.
Note: You can use Adobe Captivate with Breeze version 4.1 or later. You can use the tracking option
only with Breeze version 5 or later.
Publishing projects to Adobe Connect Enterprise
You can deliver Adobe Captivate simulations and demonstrations through standard web browsers.
Adobe Connect users can publish Adobe Captivate projects directly to the Adobe Connect
Enterprise.
To publish a project to a Connect Enterprise server:
Open an Adobe Captivate project.

From the File menu, select Publish.

In the Publish dialog box, select Adobe Connect.

Click Change Server.

The Adobe Connect servers dialog box appears.
Click Add.
5.
In Name and URL, type the name and URL of the Adobe Connect server you want to use.

Click OK.
7.
The Adobe Connect server is now listed.
Select the server you just added, and click OK.

(Optional) To have Adobe Connect track all interactions within the Adobe Captivate project,

select Enable Adobe Connect tracking. For example, if you place an Adobe Captivate project
containing a quiz into a Adobe Connect Professional, when users interact with the quiz, Adobe
Connect tracks their answers. (If you select this option, the eLearning output listing changes on
the right side of the dialog box under Information.)
(Optional) If you want to publish the Adobe Captivate project file (CP file) to Adobe Connect

make the CP file, not just the SWF file, available to others. Choose one or both of the following
options:
Zip project files
uploading to the Connect Enterprise.
Publish video file
upload the FLV files to the Connect Enterprise.
