RECORDING FRAME NUMBER

■ RECORDING FRAME NUMBER
In addition to the document marks, a frame number can also be recorded on the B-ch side at top left of each
image or frame of a roll of microfilm for indexing purposes.
A frame number may consist of 4 digits, 8 digits (4 digits x 2 fields), or 12 digits (4 digits x 3 fields).
■ The film with a frame number and document mark would look like this:

Press the Frame Number ON/OFF Key on the Control
Panel in the rear to select whether to record the frame
number or not.
The Frame Number Displays light up when the Frame
Number ON/OFF Key is pressed once.
The Displays goes out when the Key is pressed a
second time.

Set the number of digits of the frame number.
Press the Mode Choice Key and select CH-5. For the
detailed setting procedure, see page 23.
-When the Shutter Button is pressed, the number
currently shown on the Frame Number Display is
recorded on the film and is incremented by one.
