Recording A Microphone Input - Section 1

they are nearby, turn them down or off to
avoid feedback. On the front of the Omega

into the microphone while gradually turning
up the Mic 1 knob (gain) until you see the
peak light next to Mic 1 flash occasionally.
Now check the meter on the front of the Omega to make sure you are not clipping.
If you want to hear the mic in headphones, turn up the Omega's Output Level
control and turn the Monitor Mix control left (towards the Direct side).
