Turning the power on

ON/STANDBY
Press
• When the power turns on, the power indicator lights green.
¢ Turning the power off (to the standby mode):
Press < ON/STANDBY > again.
• The power indicator lights red while switching to the standby
BACK
mode.
ENTER
• The power indicator turns off once the standby mode is set.
NOTE:
ON/STANDBY
• When in the standby mode, a very small amount of power is
consumed, even if all the indicators are turned off.

Selecting the function

With the CHR-F103, it is possible to switch playback between three
sources: music discs, the HDD and an external source (USB audio,
network audio, etc.).

Load a disc.
• When a CD is loaded, the album name, track name, etc., are
displayed automatically (
page 23).
• If there are multiple data entries in the Gracenote
corresponding to that CD, "Select CD Info" is displayed. Use < JOG
DIAL > or [
D D H H
] to select the entry to be display, then press ENTER.
• To change the displayed information, stop playback and press BACK.
NOTE:
• Playback of discs not conforming to CD standards (CDs with
copy control, for example), is not guaranteed.
• Do not press the disc tray in by hand when the power is turned
off. Doing so could damage the set.
• Do not insert foreign objects into the disc tray. Doing so could
damage the set.
