Aspect Ratio

Lets you choose the screen format. When you view a picture with a wide
(16:9) aspect ratio at 480i or 480p mode of output format, you can choose
either Letter box, Cropped, or Squeezed. When you view a picture with a
normal (4:3) aspect ratio at 720p or 1080i mode of output format, you can
choose either Normal, Wide, or Zoom.
Press MENU.

The main menu appears.
Use 3 3 /4 4 to select the SPECIAL menu then press 2 2 or

to move to the second level.
Use 3 3 /4 4 to select the Aspect Ratio option.

Press 2 2 or (SELECT) to move to the third level.

Use 3 3 /4 4 to select an option then press

Press MENU to return to the previous screen or press EXIT on the

remote control to return to TV viewing.

You can also select an aspect ratio by pressing RATIO button on the remote

• If program format is High Definition (16:9) and the display format selected
is 1080i or 720p, the Aspect Ratio is set at Wide.
• If program format is Standard Definition (4:3) and the display format
selected is 480i or 480p, the Aspect Ratio is set at Cropped.
