OPERATION

Phone Book

Call numbers are stored together with a name (text) on the SIM card of the mobile phone.
As with the mobile telephone,
• the entries can be viewed
• the associated call numbers can be found using the name
• existing entries can be edited
• entries in the phone book can be deleted
• new entries can be added.

Phone book menu

All functions for the phone book can be called up from the phone book menu ("Phone
book menu").
To call up the phone book menu:
1. Call up the main menu (press MENU button once in the Start display, otherwise twice).
2. In the main menu, select the option "Phone book".
The "Phone book menu" appears.

Phone book search

By entering the first characters of a phone book entry, it is possible to quickly find the rel-
evant entry and dial the associated call number. See "Search for known entry" on page 17.
