Cleaning the remote control and the monitor

Do not use cleaning petrol, spirits or other solvents for cleaning. An anti-static cloth is
most suitable for cleaning; if necessary, a damp cloth may also be used.

Changing batteries for remote control

To replace the batteries in the remote control:
1. Open the battery compartment on the back of the remote
control.
2. Remove the flat batteries.
1 In many countries, flat batteries may not be disposed of
together with the normal domestic rubbish. Please determine
how to dispose of flat batteries in accordance with local reg-
ulations.
3. Insert two new AA batteries (Mignon, LR 6). Ensure cor-
rect polarity (marked in the battery compartment).

Use only leak-proof batteries. Battery leakage can cause damage to the remote control
or to your car.
4. Close the battery compartment.
Never expose the remote control to direct sunlight or extreme heat. The batteries dis-
charge at high temperatures and there is a risk of leakage.
Tip:
If you only use your remote control in its holder, we recommend that you remove the
batteries from the remote control.
