OPERATION

Dial from list

After the "Dial from list" option has been selected, the first call number is displayed on
the monitor, the associated name is played back.
The next entry is called up when the symbol is selected. The current name is repeated
by selecting the symbol . Selecting the symbol returns to the previous entry.
When the required entry is reached, the associated call number can be selected by choos-
ing the symbol .

Add entry

After the "Add entry" option has been selected, a display appears for entering the call
number.
1. Enter the call number; if an incorrect entry is made, the last characters can be deleted
by selecting the symbol .
2. When the correct number is displayed, select the symbol.
3. Say the name. When doing so, follow the system's instructions.
1 For the best results, allow a small pause between the tone and saying the name. Speak
fluently and at a normal volume. Names should not be too short and should be clearly
and audibly distinguishable from one another. For example, use first name and surname
or surnames with supplements (Smith mobile, Smith private, Smith office etc.).
The voice recording duration is limited to approximately 1.8 seconds. Longer entries
result in error messages. Ambient noises should be avoided as far as possible during the
recording (vehicle stationary, window closed, radio switched off).
After making the entry, the display for call number entry is displayed again so that other
entries can be made. The entry can be interrupted by selecting the symbol or by press-
ing the ALT-R (Abort) or MENU buttons.

Delete entry

1. Select the "Delete" option in the "Voice dial" menu.
A name is played back and the associated call number is displayed on the monitor.
2. With call up the next entry if necessary.
3. When you reach the required entry, select OK.
4. If necessary, confirm the safety question by selecting OK.
The system confirms that the entry has been deleted.
1 The corresponding entry in the phone book (SIM card) is not deleted.
