REGISTERING THE DISC TITLE
AND TRACK TITLE
You can register the titles of the discs and tracks.
The registered disc title can be displayed by pressing the
DISPLAY button in the MD stop mode.
The registered track title can be displayed by pressing the
DISPLAY button while the track is being played.

1 Press the MD button on the control panel and
load an MD to register the disc or track title.
2 To register a disc title, press the MD MODE button
in stop mode.
"Disc title" is displayed for 10 seconds.
To register a track title, select a track to register
the title using the ++ or - button. Then press
the MD MODE button.
"Title" is displayed for 10 seconds,

Press the MD MODE button repeatedly to select
the kind of character.
Each time the MD MODE button is pressed, the
character changes in the following order.

(A) (a) symbols (0)
Turn the VOL/MULTl JOG dial to select a desired
character, then press the * button.
When you press the > button, the selected character moves
one column to the left.
Repeat steps 4 and 5 to enter all the required
characters (up to 50 characters).
If you leave the unit without performing any operation for one
minute in steps 4 and 5, the character entry mode will be
canceled. If this happens, repeat from step 2.
Press the ENTER button.
Remove the MD from the unit.
"TOC Edit" is displayed and the entered title is registered.
3 Within 10 seconds, press the ENTER button.
The system turns into character entry mode.
