Position the vehicle on the centre stand.

Unscrew and remove the screw (1).
CAUTION
Proceed with care.
Do not damage the tangs and/or their
seats.
Handle the plastic and painted compo-
nents with care and avoid scraping or
damaging them.

Remove the central inspection cover (2).
CAUTION
Upon reassembly, fit the tangs correctly
in the appropriate seats.

Remove the central inspection cover,
see beside (REMOVING THE CENTRAL
INSPECTION COVER).

Raise the saddle, see p. 20 (UNLOCK-
ING / LOCKING THE SADDLE).

Unscrew and remove the screws (3).
CAUTION
Proceed with care. Do not damage the
tangs and/or the relevant seats. Handle
the painted and plastic components
with care, without scratching or damag-
ing them.

Moderately open the rear part of the cen-
tral fairing (5).
N
Remove the central fairing (5) by with-
drawing it from the front.
CAUTION
Upon reassembly, fit the tangs correctly
in the appropriate seats.
